    • We voted on and purchased an 8’ large inflatable Rotary sign that can be placed anywhere we are serving or socially gathering.
    • After a gap in participation for the last couple years, we voted to partner again with BB2C and the Washington County Family and Children First council, which is $1,000 dollars a year for 3 years. We’ll have Tasha come and tell us a bit more about that in a future meeting.
    • Daneka, Board Member and Grants Committee Member shared more about the current Grant Cycle and the grants the board voted on awarding.
  • Safetytown is here and we need volunteers! Use the links below to sign up.
  • The can was passed around for the Lions Club challenge. Our club donated just under 1K. The Board rounded up to $1,500.  Unfortunately the Lions raised more than twice that, so President Laura will be thrown in the Marietta Country Club Pool on Wednesday (6/19) evening.
Paul Harris Fellow:
Cheryl Cook was awarded her Paul Harris Fellow +2

Program:
Colleen Cook and Cheryl Cook laid out the history and importance of Samuel R. Cook Safety Town and thanked the many civil volunteers in the meeting for their generous support of the program. Cheryl announced them by name and asked them to stand. Colleen talked about the new trailer that Dave Archer and his team put together; it’s Rotary Blue, its low to the ground, and it’s going to make set up and tear down much easier! Thank you, Dave. Another great Safety Town program.

Split the Pot:
Scott Cantley won the weekly prize of $20, but missed out on the jackpot of $362. The game goes on!
