Announcements:
  • Duty Roster is circulating – PLEASE SIGN UP!
  • The annual ringing of the bells for the Salvation Army at Wal-Mart will be on December 14th, from 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (at both doors) sign-ups will be November 21st
  • The club passed the can for donations to the Interact fundraiser for Operation Smile.
  • Notes from the Board meeting:
    • Leave of Absence approved for Alice Chapman
    • Still accepting 100-year project ideas
    • 12 days of Christmas on hold
    • Golf scramble in May (Friday May 15)
Good News-Bad News:
  • Larry Clayman encouraged folks to attend the Campus Martius fundraising event on Saturday.
  • David Haas (surprisingly) was not here to sell anything
  • David Vandenberg announced that his daughter didn’t think working in Jordan was exciting enough so she took a new job
  • Hunt Brawley encouraged folks to attend some upcoming shows at the Peoples Bank Theatre
  • President Ruud is working to replace the American flags downtown and needs 10 partners. Both Ken Morrison & Wally Kandel agreed. 
  • Charlotte Keim is celebrating a birthday today.
  • Judge Kerenyi's father passed away on Monday.
  • Tasha Werry invited everyone to the Building Bridges to Careers Appreciation night on Friday. 
  • Bill White recently spoke at Morning Rotary where they ate MRE’s.
  • Jennifer Sturgill announced an open house tonight for downtown businesses
  • Larry Hall announced that Baker & Baker is 101 years old this year... and he had watches for sale in his coat.
  • Shawn Taylor reported that a young man from Warren was in a crash. His condition is stable now, but keep him in your prayers.
Sergeant at Arms- Bob Kirkbride:
  • Fined his table for interrupting his date
  • Recognized Flite for JFS accomplishments
  • Davis Powers set off alarm at his own company.
  • Terry Rataiczak, Wally Kandel, Dennis Cook, Larry Clayman, David Haas, Larry Hiser, David Bricker, John Flannery & Lew Camp all fined for creation of signs that did not make sense.
