Program:
Davis Powers shared his passion for flying drones.

He has moved from a hobbyist to a FAA Certified Drone Pilot.

Hobbyist drone pilots are limited to flying below 400 feet, no night flying, drones must stay in sight and are not allowed to fly over people. Drones are used for military operations, photography, hobby activities and agriculture with many new uses in commercial and medical fields.

Being FFA Certified allows Davis to work with local law enforcement in search & rescue missions along with evidence gathering. He also has a drone photography business. Ohio has no specific laws concerning drones and only a couple cities have ordinances. Drones, per FAA, can fly in any air space about the ground.  Persons do not “own” the air above their property.

Split the Pot:
Jeff Davis (son of Don Davis) won the weekly prize of $19, but missed out on the jackpot of $257. The game goes on!
