Rotary Youth Leadership Awards:
Sam Zumwalde, Isabelle Friemann, and Oscar Hampton all presented a brief program about their trip to RYLA. Our club sponsored the girls and the morning club sponsored Oscar.  The students were very appreciative that we supported them. Their learning focused on non-verbal communication and how to function as a team without using words. Their speaker was a man named Mr. Motivator and the students seemed to learn much from their weekend.
Congressman Bill Johnson
Author, 'Raising Fathers'
Congressman Johnson mentioned that he knew Rotary was a club that eschewed political discussions so instead he spoke about the great men of history form the state of Ohio. From WWI and II great Ohioans have laid the foundation and groundwork for our country. “What makes America great?” he asked? America’s constitution and preservation of the constitution.
Congressman Johnson mentioned the RYLA students who were visiting and the fact that they are our future and we owe it to them to come together and work to keep America great.
Split the Pot:
Nikita Chidester won the weekly prize of $31, but missed out on the jackpot of $520. The game goes on!
