Announcements:
  • Duty Roster is going around– Sign up!
  • Golf Committee meeting recap- The event is Friday May 15th 9am shot gun start. We are looking to get 18 teams signed up.
    Subcommittees include Marketing, Game logistics, sponsorship, registration, and day of volunteer. Please get involved in one of them
  • Terry gave a Rotary Foundation update and explanation of giving standards

  • Bill White announced we need a new collection can
  • Roger Coffman (guest) called out Flite Friemann on his lack of attendance
  • Dick Murdock announced his grandson got a new job
  • Carrie Ankrom now has a 17 year-old!
  • Alice Chapman's husband celebrated a birthday and is doing well.
  • Scott Cantley announced the hospital had come to an agreement with Anthem.
  • Heather Allender was praised for her work with the MCF and the exceptional growth

Program:
Patrice Pooler, Mid-Ohio Valley Fellowship Home
 
The Fellowship Home is a rehabilitation center for people with substance abuse issues. The program is for a minimum of 6 months and she shared how their approach has helped many people in our area. Their mission is to provide safe, supportive and nurturing environment for people who are affected by alcoholism and other chemical addictions. They allow sufficient time to overcome withdrawal, develop a personal recovery program, and plan for re-entry into community, work or family.
 
Split the Pot:
Jennifer Sturgill won the weekly prize of $44, but missed out of the Jackpot of $634. The game goes on!
