New Member Induction:

Good News-Bad News:
  • Join the Chamber and Marietta College for Business After Hours at The Gathering Place. You can get to The Gathering Place by taking Butler Street, since it is still open. 
  • Tammy Bates is a grandmother for the second time. This time it's a girl!
  • Linda Steelman invited everyone to the First Congregational Church this Sunday for Strawberry (or Peach) shortcake, along with other goodies. 
  • Daneka Hedges announced that the MMH Fashion Show raised $81,000 for the Cancer Center. The proceeds will go directly to patient care.

Ana-Sophia Beardsley: from Waterford, honor society (4 yrs.), Tri-Valley Athletic Academic Honors (4 yrs), Summer programs at Barnard and Thomas Aquinas College, Contributing author “Living with Epilepsy,” planning career in Journalism.
 
Nathan Bennett: from Marietta, Eagle Scout, Order of the Arrow (BSA),  Marching & Symphomic Band, Youth group and Altar Server Basicilia of St. Mary of the Assumption, National Honor Society, crossing guard at Washington school.
 
Lauren Helm: from Parkersburg Catholic, Volunteer at MMH, Gilman United Methodist, Salvation Army Bell Ringer, HOBY (Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership) youth leader, National Honor Society, iBelieve Volunteer, working 2 jobs most of high school.
 
Haley Klintworth:  from Waterford, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Actress senior class play. Volunteer at BVS, Food Pantries, teachers aide, in Waterford village, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society.
 
Madalyn Moore: from Marietta, Marching and Symphonic band at MHS, symphonic band at Marietta College, National Junior and Senior Honor Society,  Tri-M Music Honor Society, Relay for life, often seen acting in the Mid Ohio Valley Players, works 2 jobs.
 
Allex Teters: from Waterford, Volleyball, track, student council, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, teacher’s aide, Ohio Valley Christian Academy camp counselor, VBS counselor, Kindergarten screening volunteer, 100,000 Meals for Washington County & other community volunteering, works.
 
Hunter Welch: from Marietta, becoming a certified EMT,  volunteers for Salem Township Fire Department and Welch Urgent Care, Varsity soccer, softball, FFA state awards, National Honor Society, - both with leadership positions and tutoring. Worked as a gypsy moth trapper.
 
Kristen Winstanley: from Frontier, completed mission work in Honduras-Cougars on a Mission (did Jacky establish this group?), food drives, clean-up Washington County fair grounds, Washington Morgan Community Action Family night volunteer, FFA, National Honor Society, WSCC Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Competitive dancer, Frontier Key Club and student council, and works on family farm.
 
Austin Offenberger, from Marietta, Eagle Scout, Order of the Arrow, 4-H Carteens, Oak Grove Explorer, Camp Hervida counselor, volunteers for Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption, National Honor Society, Model UN, crew team, varsity swim team and cross country team, Bill & Joe Wesel Scholarship Winner
 
Meadow McCarthy: from Marietta, CIT at Ely Chapman summer camp, Counselor at 4-H summer camp, Cantabile Choir, Colour guard for marching band, Tri-M—Music Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, George Edward “Ted” Chapman Scholarship Winner
